Shack Gives Back! Shack Team Members Volunteer Across the U.S.

May 17, 2017

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Community has and always will be part of Shake Shack’s core. Our mission is to Stand For Something Good®, and every day we work towards improving the neighborhoods we call home.

Through our Shack Gives Back program, our Shack family regularly volunteers with local charitable organizations. We focus on supporting five main areas: hunger relief, arts and culture, education and family, environment, animal welfare and health. Team members from Shacks across the U.S. have been busy volunteering all spring, and some of the highlights are below!

The Christiana Shack boxed meals for seniors and made food for kids at the Food Bank of Delaware, a nonprofit that provides food education and advocacy. The Food Bank of Delaware is the official charity partner of the Christiana Shack, and 5% of all sales from the New Castle concrete support the organization’s mission.

The Hollywood Shack also supports Project Angel Food year-round by donating 5% of sales from its Sunset Grind concrete to help the organization nourish the Los Angeles community with freshly-cooked meals.
