The Art of Shack: Shaking Things Up at Cooper Hewitt DesignPrep Teen Workshop

Apr 5, 2016

Ever wonder what it takes to create a work of Shack? Last week, our very own creative mastermind Cathie Urushibata, hosted a Cooper Hewitt DesignPrep workshop for aspiring teen graphic designers. DesignPrep, Cooper Hewitt’s teen program, is a series of free studio tours, workshops and college visits that allow high school students to explore careers in design by connecting them with professional designers.

After learning more about how Cathie creates eye-catching Shack designs for posters, packaging and more, workshop attendees got to put their skills to the test and design their very own Shack cups.

The future’s looking oh so bright for these young graphic designers!
