Manager - Enterprise Systems and Solutions

The Manager of Enterprise Systems and Solutions will be responsible for leading support teams for Enterprise Systems as Shake Shack. This person will provide expertise for Enterprise Systems in the business areas including, but not limited to: Finance, HR, Legal, Supply Chain, and Construction applications. The Manager of Enterprise Systems and Solutions also will be responsible for leading an offshore Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) team, providing leadership and prioritization for support. The role includes setting up the support structure for Finance and HR after our go live on Workday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day leadership of the Application Maintenance, and Support (AMS) team, ensuring business priorities and SLA’s are being met to support the Workday application
  • Develop and implement the support and change management procedures for Workday, and other applications migrated into the Enterprise group
  • Partner with HR and Finance functional owners of Workday, and understand priorities for fixes and future small enhancements
  • Develop and maintain a support plan for all integrations in and out of Workday
  • Evaluate the weekly and bi-annual Workday releases for changes in functionality, develop regression test plans and tools, and manage the testing required for each release
  • Maintain the overall release plan and release coordination across Workday Solution and associated applications
  • Support business process administrators in special project/annual activities (i.e. Year End Close, Annual Performance Management process, Annual Benefits Enrollment process)
  • Provide support to reporting needs for Workday, and create custom reports when required
  • ITGC/SOX compliance testing

Skills & Knowledge

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration 
  • Working with business partners in HR and Finance to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Communication across multiple teams
  • Participation in ERP projects
  • Project management of medium to large scale system implementations preferred 
  • Financial and HR systems support knowledge preferred

Experience

  • At least 4 years of related work experience
  • Experience administering and managing back office systems, preferably Finance and/or HR systems
  • Experience managing small teams and offshore teams
  • Experience managing vendor applications and cloud-based applications
  • Experience with Workday HRIS and Financials preferred
