Facilities Manager

Position can be based in New York or surrounding area and travel to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee on-going facilities needs of existing Shake Shack assets
  • Directly manage remodels/refurbishment of existing Shake Shack assets 
  • Manage all new equipment rollout initiatives for existing Shacks
  • Oversee Service Channel Activities
  • Oversee Activities of Preventative Maintenance Vendors
  • Investigate, assess, and implement facilities management/remodel cost reduction strategies

Skills & Knowledge

  • Degree from accredited institution
  • Working knowledge of facilities systems, kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance contracts
  • Ability to read architectural and MEP drawings


  • Minimum of 5+ years experience managing facilities and remodels of multi-unit restaurant chain
  • Minimum of 5+ years working in physical facilities management, repair and maintenance
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in managing remodeling/refurbishment projects
  • Supervisory experience
