Sock on! Shake Shack is teaming up with the purpose-driven sock stars at Bombas to launch the Shake Shack x Bombas Community Initiative. Keeping in line with Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, Shake Shack and Bombas team members will volunteer each month by donating burgers and socks to a shelter or program in their hometown of NYC.

To celebrate the partnership, Bombas is bringing back its limited-edition Shake Shack x Bombas socks ($14/pair). The premium socks feature Bombas’ innovative sock-tech with their honeycomb arch support system and seamless toes for superior comfort and bold design. Available in both ankle and calf styles for men and women, the socks will hit the Shack Shop, select Shake Shack locations and bombas.com on Saturday, April 29th.

The name “Bombas” is derived from the Latin word for bumblebee. Bees work together to make their hives—and the world at large—a better place, and Bombas was founded in that spirit. Because socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters across the US, the NYC-based company donates one pair of socks for every pair purchased. To date, the company has donated more than 2.5 million pairs, and is committed to continuing to grow that number, while identifying ways for communities to get involved first hand.

All socks donated from this partnership will go to shelters and programs in NYC, where Shake Shack and Bombas both got started.
