It’s the Shack of the century! Shake Shack® is proud to announce that it’s setting up Shack in Century City on Sunday, January 22nd at 11AM. The Shack will be located on Level 2 of the newly renovated Westfield Century City at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard. The Century City Shack will be joining an all-star cast of Los Angeles locations: the Hollywood Shack, Glendale Shack and West Hollywood Shack.
Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers and flat-top Vienna beef dogs (no added hormones and no antibiotics ever), 100% all-natural cage-free chicken (no antibiotics ever), spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.
In addition to the Shack classics, the Century City Shack will feature the LA-exclusive Roadside Double, a double Swiss cheeseburger topped with Dijon mustard and onions simmered in bacon and beer. The Shack will also be spinning up a selection of local frozen custard concretes, including the Beverly Chills (vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, Compartés dark chocolate chunks, chocolate toffee and malt), Churn of the Century (chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce and Cofax double chocolate donut) and Pie Oh My (vanilla custard and slice of Rucker’s Pie seasonal pie).
As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, Shake Shack will donate five percent of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete to support Project Angel Food, a nonprofit whose mission is to nourish the Los Angeles community with freshly-cooked meals to offer optimum benefits to those debilitated by critical diseases. Shack team members will also volunteer at events run by the organization.
In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to thoughtful and responsible design, the Century City Shack has two verdant green walls designed by Articulture Designs. The Shack has ample outdoor seating where guests can kick back with ShackBurgers and shakes. The Shack’s tabletops are made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes by CounterEvolution; chairs are designed by Uhuru using sustainable materials; booths are crafted by Staach using lumber certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council; and the walls are clad in Western Red Cedar wood.
