Shake Shack® has teamed up with Middle Eastern and North African Grill House Berber & Q to create the ShackBerber, a limited-edition burger to celebrate the opening of the new Canary Wharf Shack.

The ShackBerber burger (£5) has been created by Head Chef and Co-founder of Berber & Q, Josh Katz and Shake Shack’s Culinary Director Mark Rosati. Shake Shack’s custom-blend Angus beef patty topped with Berber & Q hand pulled lamb shawarma, whipped feta, cherry peppers, Harissa ShackSauce & crispy shallots. 300 limited-edition burgers will be available on opening day only, and 50% of sales will be donated to Action Against Hunger. Since 2014, £26,858.68 has been raised for Action Against Hunger.

The new Canary Wharf Shack, located in the Park Pavilion on Canada Square, in the center of London’s famous financial district, will open its doors on Thursday, 12th January at 12 noon.

Josh Katz, Head Chef and Co-founder of Berber & Q says, “I’m so excited to be bringing a taste of the Middle East to Shake Shack for this one-off burger and for such a good cause. Shake Shack share my belief that good food should be shared with great friends in relaxed surroundings

“We’re delighted to be partnering up with Shake Shack and Berber & Q on the ShackBerber burger; the money raised will be hugely beneficial in raising awareness of Action Against Hunger and our mission to transform the lives of malnourished children across the world.” Says Emma Cullingford from Action Against Hunger

“We cannot wait to bring Shake Shack to Canary Wharf, the beating heart of London’s financial world” said Mark Rosati, Culinary Director of Shake Shack. “We are excited to be opening the doors to a new Shack in yet another iconic part of London, and thrilled to be teaming up with our friends at Berber & Q to mark the occasion.”
