Shack Gives Back: Shake Shack and Bombas Team Up at The Bowery Mission

Dec 9, 2016

‘Tis the season for giving!

We got in the spirit of holiday giving a little early this year by teaming up with our friends at Bombas and The Bowery Mission Monday, December 5th to bring food and socks to New Yorkers in need. Volunteers from our Fulton Center, Midtown East and Upper East Side Shacks served ShackBurgers, Flat-Top Dogs and ‘Shroom Burgers to Bowery Mission guests. Bombas, also a NYC-based company, provided a free pair of socks—the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters—to those who received a meal.

Founded in 1879, The Bowery Mission serves hungry and homeless New Yorkers by providing compassionate care to men, women and children caught in the cycle of poverty. Bombas was founded due to the large demand for socks at homeless shelters, and they currently donate one pair for every pair purchased. As part of our mission to Stand for Something Good®, Shake Shack has also partnered with Bombas on limited-edition Shake Shack x Bombas Socks.

High-5 and happy holidays to everyone who came out!
