Griddlin' for Something Good! The Roker Burger Raises $20,000 For No Kid Hungry

We have some smokin’ hot news! As part of the TODAY’s Original Series last week, Al Roker teamed up with the Shake Shack culinary team to create the Roker Burger, where $1 from every burger benefited No Kid Hungry. Shake Shacks around the US served up nearly 17,000 of the Southern BBQ-inspired burger. That’s Al-lot of burgers!

We’re thrilled to announce that Shake Shack is donating $20,000 for No Kid Hungry, where 1 in 5 kids in America are living in households without consistent access to food. That’s nearly 200,000 healthy meals for children in need!*

If you weren’t able to have a taste of the Roker Burger or are craving another, our culinary team and friends at the TODAY show have posted a recipe for you to try making your own southern BBQ Roker Burger at home.

Doing good never tasted so good!

*This amount is based on the individual experiences of grant recipients. Contributions will be used to reach the highest number of children facing hunger in America. Share Our Strength is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
