Good 'N' Green

Virginia is for lovers… and Shake Shack! We’re proud to announce that our Pentagon City Shack (our second Virginia location) is opening Wednesday, May 4 at 11AM in the marquee shopping destination Fashion Centre at Pentagon City.

Shake Shack is a modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers, chicken (no hormones added ever), flat-top dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, beer and wine (available at select locations) and more. With its fresh, simple, high-quality food at a great value, Shake Shack is a fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal.

Like its DMV Shake Shack predecessors (F Street, Dupont Circle, Union Station, Inner Harbor, Tysons Corner and Nationals Park), the Pentagon City Shack’s menu has all of the Shake Shack classics. Additionally, the menu will feature the Pentagon City-exclusive Potomac PB frozen custard concrete (vanilla custard, peanut butter sauce, Baked & Wired chocolate chip cookie and chocolate sprinkles). The Shack will also be spinning the Washington Monu-Mint (chocolate custard, minted marshmallow sauce and chocolate truffle cookie dough) and the Caramel Crunch-stellation (vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, Mast Brothers dark chocolate chunks, chocolate toffee and malt powder).

In addition to the Shack-exclusive Shack Red® and Shack White® wine from Frog’s Leap Winery and ShackMeister® Ale from Brooklyn Brewery, guests can kick back with a glass of Mionetto Prosecco.

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, Shake Shack will donate five percent of sales from the Potomac PB concrete to The 296 Project, providing free art therapy for active duty and veteran service members who have experienced trauma. Shack team members will also volunteer at events run by the organization. Talk about sweet!

In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, booths are made from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and tabletops are made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes. The Shack’s chairs are designed in Brooklyn by Uhuru and walls are clad in reclaimed snow fence from Wyoming.
