California knows how to party. In anticipation of our West Hollywood Shack, set to open in 2016, we teamed up with some of our soon-to-be neighbors for a series of L.A. pop-up events this past weekend.
First up! We partnered with The Infatuation LA for Backlot Beats and EEEEEATS, hosted by Hedley and Bennett at their factory space in Downtown L.A. Hundreds of Los Angelites came out for ShackBurgers, cocktails, burger beats, cornhole and life-size Jenga.

Good times and ShackBurgers were had by all, including Modern Family main man, Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
We served up the Roadside Double, a taste of the upcoming West Hollywood Shack menu.

Second up! What’s more L.A. than a movie night? For Movie Under the Stars, we screened Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in the parking lot of our West Hollywood Shack, right alongside our Thomas Dambo Happy Wall. Throwing it back to our roots in Madison Square Park, we Shack-ed up our West Hollywood parking lot with string lights and heat lamps to give the space an intimate vibe. We served burgers, fries and buttery caramel popcorn frozen custard.
Who said you can’t have fun at a construction site?
Last but not least! Our Shake Shack x Son of a Gun collab with chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo included Son of a Gun tuna melts, ShackBurgers and Shackwiches (chocolate whoopie pies stuffed with peanut butter frozen custard and toffee). Need we say more?
