Midtown East Shack Crafts For Something Good

Oct 29, 2014

As part of team training for our next-to-open NYC Shack, the Midtown East crew swapped their burger-griddling skills for artistic cred to make 400+ cards for hospitalized children across the New York region.

Through Cards For Hospitalized Kids, founded by 19-year-old Jen Rubino who was diagnosed in 2006 with a connective tissue and bone disease and has undergone more than 20 surgeries in the hospital since then, the Shacks’ lovingly handmade cards will hopefully brighten the days of children in need.

This strong community spirit, showcased by the Midtown East team (even before their doors open later this season!), is part of our official mission to Stand For Something Good. Thanks for standing with us.
